Now that I'm moving towards my *cough* almost-mid-thirties, there are these moments of "Wow. I'm getting old-er." These events vary in degree and my reaction is not usually one of fear, but total fascination. It is amazing to me that I graduated high school 16 years ago.
While I was dropping my oldest off at school several months ago, I ran into Michele and we instantly remembered one another from high school. And now, our daughters attend the same elementary school in VB. Crazy? Yep. Making me feel all, "Hey, remember when...!?" Yep. Combine this with the fact that we are both #girlmoms AND photographers. Who knew? Life is so full of surprises, I love it :) Of course I was totally honored to photograph her sweet family together. We headed out to First Landing State Park where we laughed, played in the sand, and captured some incredible images! How adorable are these girlies?! Each one has such a distinct personality. That is always my favorite element to capture during a family session.
Playing "telephone" ;) It always ends up being so silly!
Oh my goodness, I just wanted to squish on this lil sis! Her big sisters are completely smitten with her. Love how they are looking at her :)
I always aim for several images of Mom and Dad together. Sometimes that's the first time you've had a real photo together since the wedding day! Let's fix that, ladies ;)
Current favorite! #allthehearteyes
Just loved their little spirits! Feisty and clever, just how girls should be.
Gah, loved all these so much. Thank you Michele, for allowing me to capture your amazing family together. I was completely covered in sand after (even in my hair, ha!) which is a sign of a great session! Here's to high school pals and the many adventures after <3
