-Virginia Beach Family Photographer-
Sandy toes (and bottoms).
Chlorine and sunscreen scented skin.
I am so grateful for our week in OBX with family. I never imagined this would be a tradition we would start, but now I am convinced that vacation time should be mandatory for everyone. Time to refresh and unwind.
It's life giving and soul filling.
Swim lessons and more time in the pool this Spring helped me feel less anxious with the girls in the water. We also *finally* found goggles that don't leak on them. Charlotte is a fearless fish and Amelia still has several floatation devices on at all times - but I love watching them learn and enjoy the water!
That water was C-O-L-D. LOL!
My sweet parents. Love how they're looking at one another!
Love, love, love. My sister and her oldest - blissful.
Spent a morning at the Roanoke Island Aquarium. Tickets are currently 50% off while they do some remodeling, but I thought it was well worth it! The sea turtle saving station was fun to observe and they had lots of interactive stuff for the littles.
We did some kite flying at Jockey's Ridge, which was so gorgeous. Can you see which kite my kids (and husband) picked out? Minions for the win!
I could have shot there until past sunset, but once the winds died down so did my kids' patience. ;)
Loved our time! Have you visited OBX? I'd love to hear what you loved best about it. Already plotting (and saving!) for our trip next year.
It was an awesome way to kick off our Summer, connect with loved ones, and eat waaaay too many Duck Donuts. Speaking of donuts - have you tried the strawberry lemonade flavor?!
OMG. Heaven on Earth.
What's on your Summer Bucket List?
